LOL. It's because of all those long piano intros she does... they cheer out of relief that they finally recognise the song.

LOL

Not always. Often they just scream throughout what could be a beautiful long piano intro...

It irritates me. It takes away any intimacy.

unlike prince bootlegs where people just have entire conversations
during the concert.

they'll be talking about work for half an hour and take 5 second
breaks from their dull as dishwater talk to go "whooooot"when he
launches into a new song or a recognisable hit.

one of my favs is from glam slam miami, the two girls who are in
the crowd going "why are all these assholes here today?"

falloff
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I suppose you get "screamers" at most gigs.. no matter what artist you're seeing... I've pretty much experienced it at most concerts...

Tori's wasn't the worst... I saw Michael at a small venue in London once and could barely hear him at all through the whole thing....

I don't mind people cheering.... or clapping... but some people go WAY over the top..

Tori fans are actually pretty quiet compared to most of the shows I've been to.

But yeah, there are always a few that think that she's their personal request and dedication piano bar bitch.

I like how she gets pissed and screams back at the audience to shut up. biggrin I heard that New Yorkers were her best audience, showing the most respect and being silent when she played at Madison Square Garden.

eh, it's a concert huey. you're gonna get screaming. for the most part, though, tori shows are relatively quiet during the performance. every other performer i've been out to see has fans screaming through the whole damn set.

Yeah, but Tori is special, innit; a woman and her piano. The sound is more intimate than a woman and her grungeband.

For most part, Tori's small concerts I have witnessed, people shut the fuck up as soon as she hits the keys. It's respectful.

she's with a band now, though. it's always different when she's with a band.

Can't wait to see that. All these years as a fan, and I've still never seen her band live.
