Paraphrased from Guns n Roses.....discuss. I've come to know the cold
I think of it as home When there ain't enough of me To go around I'd rather be left alone But if I call you out of habit I'm out of love and I gotta have it Would you give it to me If I fit you needs Like when we both knew we had it But now the damage's done And we're back out on the run Fun how ev'rything was Roses When we held on to the Guns Just because you're winnin' Don't mean you're the lucky ones Dontcha think its neat how they used their name in there. Fun how ev'rything was Roses When we held on to the Guns Hee Hee. I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies Whats it all worth only the heart can measure It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside

It's funny how it was originally Gunns and Roses because Tracy Gunns was the first lead guitar player but he got booted from the band so they hired Slash but liked the name Gunns so much they changed the spelling.
Or something like that.

My admiration for Axl Rose just went up a few notches:
After witnessing a Guns N' Roses show at the Troubadour, Tom Zutaut, a Geffen Records A&R executive, falsely warned other scouts "they suck" so he could have more time and leeway to sign them. Axl Rose demanded, and received, a $75,000 advance from Zutaut before revealing that he had promised an A&R executive from Chrysalis that the band would sign with her if she walked naked down Sunset Boulevard. For three days, Zutaut nervously watched from his office window for a naked A&R executive before he could close the deal.[6] Alan Niven was subsequently hired as the band's manager, and the team set out to record the band's full-length debut album. http://en.wikipedia.org/w...ns_n_Roses

Or something like that. I'm unaware of all this. Sorry. Sorry? Hell, that's one of the great stories in rock n roll! Not as good as the one about Axl and the A&R chick that was supposed to walk naked, but still pretty good!

Just listen to the music. Prince is the only artist I've ever ever shown interest in like, his life, and history and shit. I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure

I just like good stories; doesn't matter if it's related to a band or not.
