My personal favourites:

Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin' (Jermaine Jackson)
It's The Falling In Love (Patti Austin)
When We Grow Up (Roberta Flack)
Get It (Stevie Wonder)
Upside Down (Diana Ross... OK, he did live adlibs on her 1980 TV special, but they were fantastic)
State of Shock (Freddie Mercury - demo)

The live Jackson 5 medley with Cher was pretty great too.

Oh totally... although the wierd thing is, it's not a duet, he just wrote the song and did background vocals, but MJ's background vocals overpower Diana's lead, and her lead sounds like him anyway! Eaten Alive to me is just a Michael Jackson song biggrin

Ah feck, forgot about Bazza. You can just about hear him sing "that's impossible" a couple of times. Well, and he did co-write it with MJ. Why did that song flop? I think it's just as good as Chain Reaction. Not quite as "classic", but it's still a good'un.

LOL @ Happy Birthday Lisa - even though he never sang in that Simpsons episode. MJ did the spoken voice but was contractually restricted from singing. What a crock.

Actually, "Happy Birthday, Lisa" was not actually sung by MJ. His record company wouldn't allow him to sing on the Simpsons.

Anyone know when "All I Do" with Stevie Wonder was released?

1981. Stevie's 'hotter than July' album.Though Michael's involvement is hardly apparent. Background vocals only.

'i can't help it' is really good, but the best songs on 'off the wall' are 'don't stop..' and 'get on the floor' in my opinion. pure funk!
don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine
purple music does the same to my brain

'someone put your hand out' - should have been on Dangerous.

it wasn't a duet or charity song it was a Pepsi promo from 1991,only available on cassette at the time. There are good MP3's of it floating around if you know where to look.

He did a duet with Mariah in her next LP, a track produced by the Flyte Tyme producers.

There are a LOT of unreleased songs.

I know he collaborated with Lauryn Hill and Lenny Kravitz for the last album.

There's a really cruddy Dangerous outtake called 'Serious Effect' and it has LL Cool J rapping on it. It's from 1990. I'm glad it didn't make the album, it was right in the middle between Bad and Dangerous and he hadn't really found the sound he wanted yet.

that was a Tight New Jack Swing Smooth Slow Jam IMHO.Same goes with "On The Line" the one He did for "Get on The Bus" which Babyface Produced.I would like to Hear MJ's Version of "Joy".He co-Wrote that with Teddy Riley for BlackStreet's Debut Album.

the cut with Lenny was Very Average&MJ wasn't fully feeling it."Serious Effect" was pretty Basic huh? Sounds like a Cross between the James Brown Sample Music that was "IN" at the time.it kinda sounds like Slick Rick's "a Teenage Love" IMHO."Monkey Business" what little I have heard of it should have made the Album IMHO.
