Damn! Madlib has done it again!! I am currently vigorously alternating between the new YNQ cd and the new Prince cd! I am loving each more with every listen. But as far as ynq goes,if you dig blunted smoky room jazz...you will dig this.Madlib is a man who creates fictional bands and patchworks samples and live playing into whole new works of art!And he is the busiest most prolific artist I can think of since...Prince.The guy releases so much stuff and has so much more coming!!It's ridiculous.

Apparently,the story is that the "band" is breaking up and this is what's left.Whatever.The dude, in his "beat konducta" character has a new cd coming called Beat Konducta In India and I read about another jazz project.Plus,there is a 40-minute suite out there I gotta get me hands on. This guy is one of my heroes.
