at the end of too hot to tror thomas busts in a great guitar solo. he is one of the most underrated guitar players in funk and popular music. was thomas mcclary praised in the 70's? | |

Was he praised? No. And all the other greats (Eddie Hazel, Mike Hampton, Sugarfoot, Marc "Drac" Hicks") didn't get a whole lot of public praise either..but that's for another thread.
But being a longtime fan of the Commodores, I always liked his work with them. I remember he also put out a solo LP in the 80's after he left the Commodores. | |
