They need to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes.

Yeas both of the groups deserve to be in the Rock Hall, along side the:

Delfonics
Moments
Spinners

and the original lush balladers:

Little Anthony & the Imperials

MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever

I agree with that as well. They're too busy inducting THE BEASTIE BOYS.

I read somewhere the Spinners are actually the best selling vocal group of the 70's, even outselling the Tempts, O'Jays, the Blue Notes and others (I don't think they counted the J5 as a vocal group as I'm pretty sure they would be the top selling of the 70's lol ).

Yeah I heard similar. I'm always confused as to who was the biggest vocal group of the '70s: either the O'Jays or the Spinners. I would think they were equally matched especially between 1972-1979.

SoulAlive

favorite songs by them:

"Stop,Look,Listen (To Your Heart)" (1971)
"Betcha By Golly Wow" (1971)
"People Make The World Go Round" (1971)
"It's Too Late" (1972)
"Children Of The Night" (1972)
"You Make Me Feel Brand New" (1974)

in the mid-70s,they also did some cool,lite-disco jams produced by Van McCoy.Who remembers their 1975 hit "Hey Girl,Come And Get It"?

Yes they still rule!

How about "Break up to Make Up"...that was my favorite and also "Hey There Lonely Girl" (which quite of few artists covered as well).

My favorite groups were the Stylistics, Delfonics and Blue Magic...love songs.
