2Pac - Keep yo head up 2Pac - Changes 2Pac - Dear Mama Notorious BIG - Mo Money Mo Problems So do not sit there and tell me that all rappers ever sing about are bad things cause I know better then that. Where did I say the word "all"? Point it out. I'd love 2 know where I said that. And secondly, Those r what, 4 songs? how many songs have those 2 rappers made total? Y did 2pac have a gun tattooed across his chest and also a gun pendant hanging from his chain? It seems he represented the gun more than the cross. I remember seeing graffiti some1 did right after 2pac was killed. It said "Live by the gun, die by the gun." It's so true. It's REALLY funny that u think 4 songs can undo the damage those guys did both 2 rap music and 2 our culture. It makes me ill. . [This message was edited Mon Sep 30 7:14:48 PDT 2002 by Nep2nes]

I think that is what we are protecting our communities from (guns) not the rappers themselves. Ok, wait a sec. They use their music 2 talk about how they r using guns in the street. They arent saying they gave it up when they started rapping. They keep doing it but now not only do they do it, but they have a way of talking about it that glorifies it and makes money 4 them. Surely u wouldnt want ur child hearing this music inadvertently when ur at work or in the next room? U cant have ur eyes on ur kids every second, and most people blame the mother and not the father 4 kids listening 2 it. Fact is, people like this should not be supported. He talks about raping people, and as women, I dont c how any1 could respect him or show him love 4 that. Ok you have missed my point...not all rappers are talking about slinging guns in the street, and they do not all glorify it. listen and you will learn. Second since I do not have any kids so I do not have to worry about them hearing it. Of course if I did yes I would watch what they listen to, but kids are kids they are gonna do it even if their parents tell them not too. Kids are sneaky little shits...I know I was one once. They will listen to it even if their parents tell them not too just out of curiosity. Hell when I was young I was cranking out the 2 live crew from my radio and my parents hated it, but they new I like it so they dealt with it. I turned out just fine. Just because they are raping about something in a song does not mean that they are going to go out and do it themselves. Alot of them rap about stuff going on around them too. Things they see in their life. Yes Eminem does rap about his life alot, but just cause he says one thing in a song does not mean that he is going to turn around and do it. Obviously you do not get the deeper meaning of some of the songs. Like I said listen and you will learn. U conveniently ignore the fact that he jokes about raping people. I guess ur still operating under the illusion that it's ok for rich celebrities to say they would rape people. If a normal person said the things Eminem says, they would be considered a threat. But because Eminem says it, and makes money by being shocking, it's ok. What a capitalist way of looking at things.

I have seen the MTV special more then once and I also saw the most recent with talking about the article in the LA times. They proved nothing in it...Both murder invetigations are still open and most likely will not be ever solved. All I can say is that I do not believe that it went down the people think it went down.

Thats the problem--it NEVER "stays on wax" ---EVER. U think Biggie and 2pac kept it "on wax"? I will give a few examples of rappers who battled on wax.Ice cube/NWA,Kool moe dee/LL Cool j,Ice cube/Cypress hill,DMX/Corrupt.There have been tons of rapper battles and the USUALLY stay on wax.Biggie and 2pac are the exception.
