Primal Scream someone recently posted over on the GD board, about Primal Scream, and I think Anx mentioned that it was good driving music, and somewhere the Rolling Stones got mentioned
I got the CD with Country Girl on it... And I Like IT!

Why haven't you got 'Screamadelica'? There should be a copy of this album in every home. From there get 'Vanishing Point' as it's dark, creeping and exciting. Finish off with 'XTRMNTR' as its a full on assault. There's Joy In Expatriation.

You know, I have always been meaning to get into this band, and yet I have not one album from them! Where should I start?

Their newest album is absolutely horrible ! One good track, When The Bomb Drops.
They've got a best of (Dirty Hits) which is well worth getting. All their best tracks are on it, albeit shortened in some cases. If you're looking for specific tracks to download go for Swastika Eyes, Kill All Hippies, Jailbird & both mixes of Some Velvet Morning. Screamdelica is their first one and it's brilliant but sounds a bit dated now, and I've played it to death.

Agreed, the new album is for me too.
Vanishing Point is the Primal Scream album I play the most. Second would be Echo Dek which has some excellent dub remixes of tracks from Vanishing Point.
