Unless you're Madonna, marginal talent only gets you so far for so long. She made some a'ight records, but her time has come and gone.

What does Madonna have that these other marginally talented artists don't?

What does Madonna have that these other marginally talented artists don't? A whole mess of money, influence, connections and a botox vagina.

"Marginal" talent? Brandy? She's no Aretha, but she's more talented than the vast majority of singers who've debuted since she did. I can't believe you compared her voice to Madonna's. I wish she'd come back. I enjoyed all of her albums, but Never Say Never and Aphrodisiac are my favorites. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

You need to get a handle on that when somebody doesn't share your tastes. 1 - Please, show me where I compared her voice to Madonna's, because I certainly did not. 2 - Sorry, but I don't think she has a great voice. She made some good songs, but mostly she whispered her way through her songs, sang through her nose and had poor enunciation. I had the hardest time understanding her lyrics. She showed more strength in her voice on Afrodisiac - the only album of hers I fully like.

You need to get a handle on that when somebody doesn't share your tastes. Truth be told, I'm not offended at all. I just really like the little disbelief guy: He kinda reminds me of Grouchy Smurf. 1 - Please, show me where I compared her voice to Madonna's, because I certainly did not.

Aw, that's just her style. But really, I guess I can see the whispering thing, but it doesn't bother me like, say, Mariah Carey's. I don't think she sings through her nose. Her enunciation could definitely be better (although I don't have a problem understanding her). The thing I really love about her is her phrasing -- it's fantastic! Brandy is being sued out the ass and is way steeped in legal issues concerning the auto accident she caused in which she seriously hurt other people. I think someone even died as a result of the accident. There were several other cars involved and it was Brandy'a fault. She's really in deep shit. It's been in the news since it happened last winter, though I haven't heard anything about the case for a couple of months. I know she is being sued by loved ones of those she hurt or killed as a result of the collision she caused.

Who Ray-Jay's sister? [Edited 7/25/07 16:57pm] Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

R.Kelly pisses on little girls. He still makes a pretty good living. There is a guy who plays football for the st. louis rams named leonard little. He killed an innocent women and was convicted of dui. This guy got basically a slap on the wrist. He actually had another dui about a year ago and it was thrown out of court. Fortunately he did not kill anyone but this guy is still playing football for the rams. So there is hope for brandy if she gets good legal representation. It is unfortunate what happened to her because she really is one of the good people. I got a chance to me her when she was 16 and was doing promotion for her debut album. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

Not did Leonard Little kill an innocent woman in his driving accident (he pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter), he reportedly jumped out his car and was far more concerned with his ride being damaged than the woman in the accident who eventually died. Furthermore, Little has gone on to have a very productive career with the St. Louis Rams. THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. She was doing 65mph and didn't notice traffic was slowing down - WTF? She is done, but I do think $50mil is outrageous.
