Although I have been listening to MAdonna off and on for the last 20 years, I really dig Shanti/Ashtangi.

Ray of Light is her best album IMO

In 1998 and 1999,I felt the same way lol But I've decided that I enjoy 'Erotica' a little more,so that's officially my favorite Madonna album.
ROL' is a close second.

I find Erotica a little too long and uneven. I think Confessions may be my #2.

Ray of Light was like the perfect Storm of Madonna's dance sensibilities, great lyrics, and musical experimentation. She took a chance with the sound and this album still sounds good.

Erotica on the other hand, sounds dated, like an early 1990's pop album.

This video is AMAZING!!! Love it,love it,love it!! If it wasn't for "Like A Prayer",this would be considered her best video.

This is my single favorite music video of ALL TIME, love it exclaim Like a Prayer? Quit frontin' lol razz

As little as she impresses me musically I gotta give it up for her longevity, reinvention & business savvy from hell nod I don't consider myself a fan but I do like a good handful of songs by her. The faves though:

Bad Girl
Music
Don't Tell Me
Little Star
Into the Groove
Crazy For You
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

Little Star (is there no greater way to describe love for your child than this?)

Take A Bow (for those bastids in my past who left their mark...)

This Used to be My Playground (makes me homesick)

Holiday (makes me feel teenaged and carefree again hmm)

I think that's pretty much it... cool

That's why the 'clean' version is better. It's the same other than removing that song. Plus Erotica is meant to have 13 tracks. nod
