DeBarge defined R&B IMHO. How many artists have since taken the lyrics from "I Like It" just to add to any of the DeBarges' paychecks? How many have sampled that song, "All This Love", "In a Special Way", "Time Will Reveal", "A Dream" and "Stay With Me" among others? How many artists have sung:

To say the DeBarges (El, Randy, Mark, James, Bobby, Tommy, Bunny, Chico, etc) were/are talented would be an understatement.
