This is 100% NOT TRUE. That magazine is from Australia (my country) and they never print the truth. They're known as the trashiest mag down here.

OK! is actually a British magazine with several international editions, as is Maxim and Stuff.

i have to blame some of this on Lynne Spears. she seems to have been a very overbearing stage mom.

though Lynne says it was Britney's idea to do the naughty school girl act in the beginning many insiders say it was Lynne.

Britney was pushed hard and now has to pay the price. Britney was talked about just wanting to have a family...It makes me wonder how much of this did Brit want and how much did Lynne want for herself and since she couldn't do it used her daughter.

I have a feeling Brit will join the ranks of Michael Jackson as former child stars victims of overbearing stage parents.

hmmm Yeah that could be the case... it's all sad though how she had it all at one point and now seems hell-bent to lose it all if this is the case.

The magazine that reported it was NW (New Weekly) which is an Australian magazine.

You're saying she's bad for buying a dog now? And there's always that saying "Money doesn't buy happiness". Sure she's finanicially secure, but it's fairly obvious all that money hasn't helped her life problems in any way.

Yep, that's exacly what I'm saying. Many of these pet store puppies come from puppy mills. I work in Veterinary Medicine and get the "joy" rolleyes of dealing with breeders everyday. They breed their poor females constantly just so they can sell puppies for these ridiculous amounts; and people buy these puppies; why, because of stupid celebrities like Britney, Paris Hilton, and Nicole Richie. People, who only carry the poor things around as an accessory to compliment whatever shred of fabric happens to be poorly draped across their overly-spray tanned bodies on that particular day. It's disgusting, because I've had to work on more than my fair share of "handbag puppies", because many of them end up being dropped and/or stepped on; and due to much inbreeding to keep them at that tiny size, racked with several medical conditions. There are soo many amazing animals being put to sleep everyday in the humane society because of over-crowding. She's basically letting everyone know that second-hand pets are not fashionable or worth being loved just as much as these pricey pooches...and I'm sick of it. Personally, I find it revolting. If people like her didn't buy these dogs, than breeders wouldn't be breeding them and that's one less dog I don't have to watch suffer from an infection of the uterus (pyometra) or an emergency C-Section. Hope that clears things up for you. By the way, it is just my twocents. You can keep on loving and respecting the girl if you like, but that doesn't mean I have to do the same. She gets no love from me.

the main problem here is that she's got a 10 month old and a 1 yr old
so buying a new yorkie should be the last of her concern.

instead of carrying the puppy around she'd be better off taking care
of her kids by getting herself together.

no matter what the fuck you've been through, if you've got 20 mills
worth of houses you can pay for some professional help to get you
back on track.

She looks good in the last picture holding the baby. I haven´t read the article yet though.

So what's the deal with the assistant with the last name that's a bad joke waiting to happen? What's her story? Or will I have to wait until she writes the "My Life With Britney" tell-all, to find out?

clapping I agree with u 100%. The opinion I have of Britney is the same opinion I have about non-celebrity mothers who leave their young kids with babysitters so they can go out for endless nights of partying (trust me, I've known a few of these women). Except in their cases, child protective services would be at their front door and putting them in handcuffs in a heartbeat. One night out of the week isn't that big of a deal, but more than that is pushing it and Brit was out for more nights than any mother should be with young children at home. I don't give a damn if the kids were asleep and being watched over by paid help. She should be there when those babies wake up in the middle of the night and want their mommy there to comfort them...not one of the revolving door nannies. It's selfish and sad that she puts clubbing, drinking, and over-priced pooches before her kids, just like it's sad meeting people who tell u that their mother was a drug addict and was never there for them. Frankly, I'm sick of hearing about how anyone should feel sorry for any of these rich, spoiled, mediocre talent girls. Personally, I'm glad the paprazzi are getting pictures of them doing all this dirt. Anyone who is stupid enough to do illegal and irresponsible things when they are knowingly followed by a wide angled lens 24/7, deserves what they get. I would like to thank the paps for showing the world just how normal they really are, because without all those tabloid pics, many people would probably believe that these idiots are perfect angels. In reality, they are just as bad if not worse than anyone their age. I've met lots of people who came from awful backgrounds and broken homes and they aren't fucking up their lives like these girls are and that's sad. I guess all the money and fame in the world doesn't give a person common sense. This is my opinion and I believe in tough love. Sorry, I'm not going to be one of their enablers by supporting them. Sometimes people need to lose their support systems to get better and grow up and that's what these girls need. Just my twocents

I don't think she does that anymore, but I agree there was no excuse when she did. Although there's a rumour of post natal depression, which to me makes sense. She only goes out ocassionally now.
