Michael Jackson and Children I'm not speaking about his legally adopted, inseminated, or transplanted children.
I'm talking about all his little friends who used to hangout at Neverland Ranch. Obviously the trial a couple of years ago must have affected Michael alot--it's not easy for someone to be accused of child molestation and then get dragged through the courts for the entire world to see. Even aquited, there's a certain stain that has been painted on him that will affect his career forever. But has this affected the way in which he interacts with children? Has Michael been more cautious in his life lately? I know he no longer lives in Neverland Ranch, but I doubt place of residency means anything--he was flying boys to Rio with him before the trial. I do believe , whether he molested those boys or not, Michael is stuck in a childlike phase in his life that he hasn't ever moved past, and that he relates better to children than adults--so an adjustment of the nature in which children are removed from his life, other than his own kids of course, would seem as damaging as it might theraputic to some. Does anyone know if he's finally readjusted his lifestyle? The early 90's scandal obviously didn't do anything to change his behaviors--but this last molestation scandal seemed way more in-your-face than that.

I guess nobody knows.
My take is that he's being forced to grow up and "Evolve" if he hasn't digressed back to having kid slumber parties. What this means of course, is that the world is a scary place for him now. It should be interesting to see what the next album would sound like, and how he choses to release it, and what image his first single/video seeks to portray. The King of Pop stuff won't work so well--maybe a retro theme back to the pre-Thriller days?

If he did not do anything... for him to be aquited... and if he was guilty for him to serve time...

My take is that he's being forced to grow up and "Evolve" Which means he does it in secret now. Read "Michael Jackson Conspiracy" by Aphrodite Jones. This book actually "puts you in the courtroom" to see just how pathetic these allegations were. It also shows just how biased the media was in not reporting the facts. [Edited 7/18/07 17:31pm]

I'm not asking if he poked the kids I'm asking how the last trial and the hoopla around it has affected his relationship with children other than his own. Think about it ... And let's really go out on a limb and say that he really didn't do it. That he has absolutely no interest in the boys. 1) He was accused publically 2) People he trusted, specifically little children, turned on him 3) Very private, somewhat creepy details of his life What I'm interested in is how he's adjusted to this. The first scandal didn't do anything to his behavior other than stepping up his "save the children" efforts publically. This one had to have made major changes to the way he views his relationships with kids and other people. If he was truly innocent, this is very tragic as he would be in a very isolating place right now you know?

at this whole thread. [Edited 7/18/07 14:12pm] "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

But the point is, has he adjusted his life. wait nevermind I don't really want to know. More SPAM!
