Today a commercial won me over!!

So I don't watch alot of TV, but today I was stuck at the hospital visiting my mom and this commercial for some over-hyped cellphone kept coming on. The song playing during the commercial was "My Man My Moon" by Feist, and I think now I'm in love with her love

I went out tonight and got her album and its awesome! Its mellow but she has some really interesting rhythms on several tracks. Not to mention she has the lightest, loveliest voice I've heard this year.

Her album is definitely worth checking out! Is anyone else a fan or has anyone gotten hooked on that commercial lol

I haven't seen this advert, but I am all over the Boys Noize remix of "My Moon My Man" on Volume 4 of the Kitsune Maison compilation series.

In some ways she reminds me of Tracey Thorn who also has a new album out with a track called "It's All True." I remember you liking The Bird & The Bee's "Fcking Boyfriend," this is right up your alley.

I like Feist but I've yet to take in her new album. I first took note of her when she remade the Bee Gees hit Love You Inside Out. I liked the remake a lot, though it took me forever to figure out who it was because - for some reason - she released the song under the title of Inside & Out.

She's covered Prince too!!!

There's an album called 'If I Were Prince' and she does this crazy cover of 'Sexy Dancer' with her friend Peaches. She isn't credited as Feist though, but Bitch Lap-Lap!!!

I was at the hospital last weekend visiting my mother also. The movie "Purple Rain" was on BET at the time and I eventually had to turn it off. Of all scenes, it had to be the one with Prince listening to Wendy and Lisa's tape of "Purple Rain". Then Prince played it on the piano in the basement. I had to turn the TV off because it reminded me of a piano at a funeral.
