It's good to see King Heroin getting some attention around here.
Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

Take Some Leave Some is a great track with a ridiculous horn section... I never see it mentioned on here though.

I'm fond of '70s track 'World of Soul', due to its driving rhythm and James' funky and hilarious exclamations of the signs of the Zodiac. Especially the way he screeches 'Aries!' wink

Surreal funk for sure biggrin.

I also love early '60s track 'I'll Go Crazy' - (great example of JB doing R n' B), and '70s tracks 'Papa Don't Take No Mess' and 'I Can't Stand It 76', tho I'm not sure whether these are considered classic or under-rated. I think they are the former, but haven't seen anyone else give them props.

I'd even add 'Moments', from the 'Universal James' album from 1992. This is a soulful, flowing, jazzy track in the 'rappin' about the state of the world' tradition of 'King Heroin', and is quite deep and very effective imo.

I Don't Want Nobody . . .

Underrated by whom? I thought that was among most folks' favorites.

Bring It On, Bring It On was a single from the early 80s which most seem to have forgotten. It's one of my all-time faves.
