There should be in R&B Hall of Fame

To all who clicked on this subject, I think that the powers that be should put together a R&B HOF. For the simple fact that so many good Black acts are getting the shaft when it comes to R&R, so if I was head of the committee and you guys were part of my board, we would start this. First, the location would be in no other place than in Detroit, MI. Motown. Second, same rules apply like the R&R HOF, you must have been in the business for 25 years. Thirdly, nothing but R&B artists would be inducted. So, I noticed when the R&R first opened up it had a massive of talent in its first year. And since R&B is so huge I'll do that to. I'll start with 15 inductions the first year. And my inductees would be:
1.James Brown
2. Aretha Franklin
3. Ray Charles
4. The Temptations
5. Stevie Wonder
6. Diana Ross & the Supremes
7. Little Richard
8. Smokey Robinson & The Miracles
9. Marvin Gaye
10. Parliament/Funkadelic
11. The Dramatics
12. Prince
13. The Jacksons/J5
14. The O'Jays
15. The Isley Brothers
Those are my inductees so what are yours?
Peace and be wild!

Cool idea LoDog, but some of those artist shoudln't go in on first induction (if this was a real list lol )

Prince, Isleys, O'Jays, Dramatics, J5 ect. shouldn't go in before Chuck Berry, Ruth Brown, Driffters, Platters, Jackie Wilson and others.

Forgot about the Moons and Jackie. I was gonna have Marvin as a second year inductee as the other artist I named were having hits in the mid-1950's.

It's interesting that every one of these artists (except the Dramatics) are already in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

I'd rather see a Funk Hall of Fame. With an R&B Hall of Fame, you would eventually get a bunch of weak motherfuckers from the 1990s in it. With a Funk Hall of Fame, you get strong artists only.
