I think this is one of her best solo efforts. I prefer her with the Go Go's but I do like several of her singles as well. This was over 20 years ago! I was only 12-years-old at the time.

i was really bummed out about the video...because i found out she was married! Andy Taylor of Duran Duran plays guitar on that song. solo or with the GO~GO's it's all about Belinda anyway. sort of like Beyoncé & Destiny's Child.

her 1st solo album really showed her influence from the girl groups of the 50's and 60's. even doing Freda Payne's "Band Of Gold". it was re-released a couple years back. remasted with different artwork and some bonus tracks.

They're all good but I think one of her often overlooked ones is La Luna.

She is very good live as well - I had the pleasure of seeing her as one of several acts on one of those 80s reunion tours back in 2000. Culture Club were the main act but she was far superior.
