I never heard Heatwave's third album 'Hot Property' Lately,I've been listening to Heatwave's first two albums 'Too Hot To Handle'released in 1977 and the follow-up 'Central Heating,released in 1978.If you are familiar with these albums,you don't need me to tell you that these albums are FANTASTIC  So many cool dancefloor jams like "Boogie Nights","Ain't No Half Steppin","Super Soul Sista","Party Poops","The Groove Line","Send Out For Sunshine",etc.So many smooth slow jams...."Happiness Togetherness","Sho Nuff Must Be Love","Star Of A Story",etc.In the late 70s,Heatwave couldn't be stopped.In 1979,they released the third album 'Hot Property':
I have yet to hear this album!  I'm hoping that I will find it during one of my vinyl digs.To those who have heard it...how does it stack up the first two albums? Any idea why it wasn't as popular? I've heard the single "Eyeballin" and to me,it's just as strong as "Boogie Nights" or "The Groove Line". | |

I think I saw this album on my previous vinyl dig. Didn't buy it though It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I think I saw this album once when I was on a dig. Since I already have "Boogie Nights" and "The Groove Line" on various compilations, I was scared to take a chance on the rest of the album for fear that the rest of the tracks were midtempo or slow songs. Andy is a four letter word. | |

Are you kidding? Heatwave always had alot of JAMS on their albums! They balanced it out with a few slow jams too,but they were all about the dancefloor.If you ever come across any Heatwave album,buy it!!
