Everytime I think about "Juvenile", all that I can remember is his first song that had gotten airplay for the video. I used to like him and "The Hot Boys" when I was younger. Now, everytime I think about "Juve" all I can do is go, "Lieu Ween gaht beeg baws. Lieu Ween uh beeg bawlah. Lieu Ween uh stick yah up. Lieu Ween....Lieu Ween, Lieu...," stop me, now. lol

By the way, if no one knows who/what "Lieu Ween" is supposed to be, it is how "Juvenile" pronounces "Lil' Wayne" on one of those songs from an album of "The Hot Boys". smile

jacktheimprovi
dent

I know I'm gonna forget a bunch and I'll probably just be reiterating what everyone else is saying but here

Public Enemy-It Takes A Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back, Fear of A Black Planet
Eric B. And Rakim-Paid In Full, Follow The Leader
Run-DMC-RUN-DMC, Raising Hell
KRS-ONE-KRS-ONE, I Got Next, Return of The Boom Bap
Pharcyde-Bizarre Ride To the Pharcyde
Common-Like Water For Chocolate
Outkast-Stankonia
Blackalicious-Nia, Blazing Arrow, The Craft
Jurassic 5-Quality Control, Power In Numbers
Lyrisc Born-Later That Day...
Paris-The Devil Made Me Do It, Sleeping With The Enemy
De La Soul-3 Feet High and Rising, De La Soul Is Dead
Grandmaster Flash And The Furious Five-The Message
X-Clan-To The East Blackwards
The Roots-Things Fall Apart, Game Theory, Phrenology

The three that I particularly like to champion are Blackalicious because they're production style is fantastic and they're much more melodic and prone to singing than just about any other hip-hop group I know, Jurassic 5 because they have the catchiest vocal tradeoffs and feel a lot like an old school vocal group (just one that raps), and the Roots because they're an actual band with an MC as the frontman essentially.
