Haven't heard heard this, but what's that he did with P.O.D. on L. GRAMMYS? "america"? Kinda sucked. but maybe it'll get better on repeated listenings. [This message was edited Thu Sep 19 15:10:09 PDT 2002 by PFunkjazz] test

Here is the*rumored* final tracklist for Santana's new CD 'Shaman' (but it could always change...lol)---
"Keep It Positive" "Shaman" "Lady Bird Blues" with Cee-Lo "The Game Of Love" with Michelle Branch "(Curacion) Sunshine On Water" "Feels Like Fire" with Dido "Foo Foo" "Aye Aye Aye" "One Of These Days" with Ozomatli "Manana" "Love To The People" "Adouma" "Ath Of My Head" "Truth Don Die" "America" with P.O.D. "Victory Is Won" "Novus" with Placido Domingo Other songs I've heard about... ***"Supernatural Thing"---a remake of the 1975 Ben E.King hit sung by Macy Gray.My guess is that Macy appears on the album but singing a NEW song, not a remake. We'll soon see. ***"Nothing At All"---the only thing I know about this song is that it was produced with Corey Rooney. ***"You Are My Kind"---this song was produced by Lester Mendez. ***"Satellite"---another Lester Mendez production ***"Amore"---produced by Dallas Austin ***"Hoy Es Adios"---produced by Klaus and Jeeves ***"Sideways"---produced with Citizen Cope ***The Japanese version of this CD will contain a bonus track that's not on the U.S. version. Considering all the songs Carlos has recorded for this CD,he should make it a 2-CD set.

At first,I wasn't crazy about the idea of this collaboration. But after seeing the "Game Of Love" video and hearing the song on the radio,I am now CRAZY about this song!! It's a breezy, mellow Latin-flavored pop song, similiar to "Smooth" but I think this song is better.

I think that M Branch is talented but lacks of maturity for a real interesting collaboration with Santana

i thought the same thing about m. branch when i first heard about the collaboration, but she really holds her own on the song vocally.
