Sly Stone Live Web Cast Slys concert in @ North Sea Jazz Festival will be shown LIVE on a streaming web cast....!!!

Wow, after all that bad press about the shows before, I was expecting a side show act...but honestly they sounded pretty good. Sly made his entrance like sly would...late...pimpin the crowd.... The Band itself was tight and polished during the first songs but as soon as Sly came on stage, it was Slys Show. You can tell the band was a bit nervous and didnt know what sly would do or sing next. Sly would stop songs in the middle and call out a new song...CLASSIC SLY owned it! At one point he even said " I know Yall are pissed, I am an old man...Ill be fuckin back" and took a five minute break.
Then came back for Thank You...and dug out. They closing songs witout Sly were quite uneventful and kind of lacked a proper ending as if the band wasnt quite sure what to do. But Slys voice still great! He even Jumped off the stage after he came back from his break... Sly is still Sly though...seems he was a bit out of it or high...maybe both..but it was Sly. I still wish it was the original group though...there just is something that doenst fit with the present line up...but its what Sly wants. I also was looking for some of the new songs Sly promised, but he didnt do any new material.... GOD BLESS YOU SLY...BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL GROUP!!!! | |

I have been BEGGING you to do something like that for YEARS and you go and let Sly...SLY???...beat you to the punch!!! For the FIRST time in damned near 30 years...I am TRULY doing this...  and it's in regards to YOU!!!
