Whatever happened to Glenn Lewis?

I was wondering if anybody heard or know what is going on with glenn lewis.
His debut album was really good and unlike other r&b singers of today this
dude actually can sing. I am sure a lot of you heard the stevie wonder comparisons and they are valid. There were songs on his album very stevie wonderesque. Don't you forget it set the tone for what should have been a momentum builder for his debut but epic dropped the ball. There was only one other single from the album it's not fair which was cool but there were other nice selections on it. The last time i even heard about him was a few years ago.
Supposedly daddy knowles had signed him which made me uncomfortable. I just hope this guy gets another shot with a good team and a good lable. He potentially could carry the torch for r & b.
Don't laugh at my funk

He's supposed to have an album drop this fall, we'll see what happens.

It so strange how his label pushed him back and released him right when it looked like he was about to blow up...

I think his time has passed, he had some talent but it was all Stevie's. biggrin
What we really need is D'angelo's return, that would really can change shit, big time. There's so many people waiting on that guy even after 8 years.
A brotha can dream can't he?

He reminds me of the lead singer from the '80s group, Klique, who sounded like Jackie Wilson at times and even remade one of his songs, A Woman, A Lover, A Friend. Seems kinda hard to break free of those comparisons.

Hw was alright but he tried to vocally sound like Stevie Wonder(As Rebel said,LOL) too much, listen to his song, Don't You Forget It and you'll hear what I'm saying

They released a single from the 2nd cd quite a while ago. The cd never came out though. I dig the cat. Check out his live DVD. Not bad.

I heard Stevie threw his ass in the trunk of his car and "took the wheel for a little while." lol
