I enjoy the 'Thank God It's Friday' soundtrack but I also think there's some filler on that album:

Je'Taime (Moi Non Plus) by Donna Summer disbelief
Love Masterpiece by Thelma Houston
Lovin,Livin,Givin by Diana Ross
(sounds like a cheap Giorgio Moroder rip-off)
I Wanna Dance by Marathon

by comparison,the 'Saturday Night Fever' soundtrack is strong all the way through.
