My picks for the 2008 class of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame You know it's a travesty that some well known artists are getting left out the hall. But if I was on the committee, I will definitely make sure these 6 artists would be part of the 2008 class. They are:
1. Kiss 2. The Dramatics 3. Genesis 4. Janet Jackson 5. Run-DMC 6. Kool & The Gang My honorable mentions would be: Herbie Hancock and Rick James Who would you pick to go in if you were on the committee and who should go? Peace and be wild! | |

U picked Run DMC and Genesis over Herbie hancock? Interesting. Especially since Herbie is one of the most influential artist in r&b and hip-hop, but never gets any credit for anything but "Rock It". **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Duran Duran should get in too
they have had a lot of hits they were an mtv pioneer with their videos they have been recording non stop as a band for 27 years! | |

Who's all eligible. - I read somewhere the O'Jays would be the last black vocal R&B to make it, so the Dramatics are out. - The Jackson 5 didn't make it their first try so I dobt Janet will. - Kool & the Gang will have to wait a awhile. The only way she'll be inducted is if Janet gets in too. That committee at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame are kind of shady. If you want my opinion, they'll probably induct these artists next year: Run-DMC Chic The Stooges Duran-Duran The Shangri-Las (?) Shoot, they should've inducted Mary Wells and the Marvelettes inducted before the Ronettes... | |
