GUESS WHAT THE UPS MAN LEFT FOR ME TODAY?!! Its k.d. lang 
It is an amazing compilation of her early country/cowpunk stuff that she did while on Sire  records.

interesting. i first saw k.d. with Roy Orbison in the "crying" video. love that song.

Well her "country" stuff was pretty much ignored by Nashville. Which is a shame.
Cause really you hear a young woman who can sing the shit out of stuff, and has a band that can easily go from polka to hillbilly and back to country standard.
