Artists U Loved or Hated After seeing Live

After watching the BET Awards & seeing Robin Thicke I can honestly say that I don't like him anymore. I really liked his Album...but after seeing that crap he did..I felt like I had been tricked. Terrible stage Presence...weak vocals.

I like Artists who have the Total Package..Studio & Stage Presence.

I never really got into the Smashing Pumpkins when I was younger. But after seeing them play on Live Earth I was very impressed & I started seeking out more of there Music. The Power of a good Live Performance I guess U can say. cool

What Artists have Turned U On or Off after seeing them play Live??

I was obsessed with Madonna for a whole 12 years until the day I saw her live. Then I went to her next tour to see if it was just a one off, and I hated that one even more.

I was'nt that big of a fan of David Bowie,
but I recieved free tickets to his show in
Stockholm 1995,and that show was amazing.
I became a hardcore Bowie fan and started collecting
all the albums.

I was into Mary J Blige for a while,
until I went to her show that was way under my
expectations.Since then I lost my intrest quit a bit.

I loved loved loved Outkast and finally got the chance to see them on the 'Stankonia' tour and not only saw them, but got to go backstage to meet them. They were the biggest dickfucks ever! Totally unfriendly and would not look at any of their fans in the eyes and just kept talking to one another while signing cd booklets...I told Andre how brilliant 'BOB' was and he just shoved the cd booklet back to me! I havnt cared for them since....

On the bright side...Ludacris was their opening act and he was very friendly and funny!

This is kind of funny to me. I got my Idlewild album signed by them and your right, they don't look at their fans and they do just laugh and joke with eachother. I wasn't bothered by it, but now that you've mentioned it I didn't feel like they were appraochable in any kind of way.

I also really loved D'Angelo back when he 1st came out. But when I saw him perform 'Cruisin' & walking around the stage like Frankenstein & wearing an outfit that looked liked something he just woke up in. I was really taken back.

I Love his studio work..but he just doesn't do it 4 me Live.

Totally not approachable. I wouldnt of cared that they did not look at me...but the rudeness of it all and the way he just shoved my cd booklet back at me was cold. Fucker.....maybe I'm just hating on Andre!

Two words: Eric Benet.....
He does an excellent live show, pays attention to audience members that he recognizes, gives his all. Also, every time I've seen him, he has been so personable and respectful to his fans! He signs autographs, pictures, albums and even takes individual or group pictures. He usually makes arrangements to meet his fan club members after his shows. I've met lots of artists through the years and had some positive and some negative experiences, but he, by far, has been the coolest!

I didn't care much for Audioslave until I saw them at a music festival and I fell in love with Chris Cornell and Tom Morello. Now I'm interested in hearing some Soundgarden and Rage Against the Machine

I have always liked Cher, but have to admit having seen her "Farewell" tour, wouldn't pay to see her again. I have to keep in mind, the tour itself dragged on for, like, 9 years... just Cher saying farewell over and over again. But from my perspective, they may as well have wheeled her out on a dolly to perform. She practically stood in one place and there wasn't much contact or interaction with the audience. (Her opening act, Cyndi Lauper, was the complete opposite by comparison!) I think I was more taken by the theatrics and dancing (not of which was done by Cher) than the actual performance.

I used to write off Radiohead as miserable and dull until I saw them at their homecoming gig in Oxford about the time of Kid A; incredible.

Well, I like his albums well enough (OK, mostly Tender Lover and For the Cool in You), but he never struck me as a great performer.

The artists I love seeing live are Michael Jackson, Prince, and Luther Vandross. True kings of R&B. Usher also gets a nod for live TV(I haven't seen him in person). On the other hand, I've seen Mary J. Blige live once and was gravely disappointed. She wore some baggy looking clothes(not usually Mary's style), her hair was a mess and vocals sounded like she had a cold or something. The girl is fine but she disappointed me in the deepest way live. Sorry y'all.
Peace and be wild!

I loved Amy Winehouse untill i saw her live. maaan she's just REALLY REALLY BAD live. I'm mean still like her studio albums but i probally would never to go her shows.

I'm not sure if there's anyone i didnt like untill i saw them live. but there's people i wasn't as into untill i saw them live, such Fiona Apple. And a lot of people seem to think i'm gonna be really into John Mayer after i see him live tommorow night.
