I like her too- she seems genuine, paying her dues working with Betty Wright. I heard the song she performed in NYC on the fourth of july and I thought it was really tight. Gunna have to cop that new album of hers

I like the idea of her. But she tries too hard. She's like a deeper voiced Christina Aguilera, over-singing everything and trying to inject soul into every word/note, instead of just letting it come naturally.
