I just found this little tidbit that confirms what we've expected all along. I lifted this from the teenagewildlife website-

In a CQ interview, Bowie unveiled a new, previously unreleased Toy song, A Hole in the Ground. He also said that he was hoping to get Toy released in 'a couple of months' !!!

Many people think this is pointless since many of the tracks have already been released and it seems like they're still coming. But I think it will be nice to have them collected all in one place. Plus, many of the single formats are difficult to come by and not available in every country. Here, they're on import only.

So far the following have been listed as the final tracklist for 'Toy'-

2. Afraid
3. Baby Loves That Way
4. I Dig Everything
5. Conversation Piece
6. Let Me Sleep Beside You
7. Toy
8. Hole In The Ground
9. Shadow Man
10. In The Heat Of The Morning

Most of these are very old compositions by Bowie, reworked in 2000/2001. The album was scheduled for release early last year. The new songs written for the album, 'Uncle Floyd' and 'Afraid' have been released in altered form on his current album 'Heathen'. Tracks 3, 5, 9, and 11 have been released as b-sides and bonus tracks. The rest remain on the shelf. For any of you that have heard these remakes, you know how wonderful they are. I think the enthusiasm fans have shown towards this material has Bowie excited about getting the rest of it out. Let's hope it happens.
