Making the Band 4 ?

Has anyone caught any episodes of this seasons Making the Band 4. I watched an episode last night and it looks like it might be another classic like Making the Band 2 with Ness, Chopper, Freddrick, Dylan and all those others.

By classic I mean the shows/series and not the actual group The Band. lol

I'm watching it right now. I actually think some of the dudes have talent. Laurianne cracks me up with her "boom kat" and michael bivens is proving time and time again that he is not going anywhere. He has always got his hands in something. As for diddy, he is still diddy. I think I will definitley watch every episode!

Is there any drama like on Makeing the Band 2 Who could forget those fights with Ness and Freddrick or them walking Uptown to get some cheese cake or Choppa making fun of Sara's husband and kids.

Well on last week's episode, Diddy had the boys go to Times Square and sing for two hours, raising money for the homeless. Then, in Brooklyn, they had to pick up some cheesecake. So yeah, that happened again! Next, I think they had walk to Queens and then head to the Bronx to sing in front of Yankee Stadium. To end an already long day, they had to walk across the George Washington Bridge and back -- all while singing. Diddy gives a harsh warning that if they didn't do everything as a team, they'll all be cut and he'll start the season over. I really haven't seen any fights yet, but I will be anticipating them too! I read somewhere that Diddy was going to have an altercation with Laurianne somewhere in the remaining episodes of this season. I can't wait for that. I'm definitely watching this season. Does anyone think this group will be a failure like O-Town and Da Band were? I still can't believe that girl group sold more copies than Diddy's own crappy album from last year.

Out of curiosity.

Has any of the bands that came out this program ever hit it big?
It seems to me that they all went down the drain.

yeah me too. the show is just about the ratings and money, not about if the bands actually make or not. they proved that with "Da Band"...they only had one album and a couple of videos, but people still know who they are...not from there music, but by them being on the show.

P.S. I'm really getting sick of Diddy playing the "you need to shut the fuck up when i step into the room because i am a millionaire bitch and you ain't" role.

Danity Kane's debut record went platinum and eventually debuting at number one on the Billboard charts, shockingly outselling Diddy's floptastic, crappy, and egotistical Press Play album, which only went gold. I think that was the only group that came out Making The Band with a solid hit. I really didn't care for them though. They were the ordinary! O-Town's albums flopped and they disbanded within two years and Da Band's debut album went gold and then it got panned by many critics for sounding like an ordinary Diddy record and having no substance. What was so surprising was that Diddy embarressed them and eventually disbanded them on national TV. But the good thing that came out of all of that was that MTB2 was the most watched series in MTV history. So, now comes my final analysis:

THESE GROUPS SUCKED!

I think what is worse is how Michael Bivens is acting all beneath diddy when his group Boys II Men did better than ANY group Diddy has put together.

Yeah, and weren't Diddy and New Edition in a funk back in 2004 or 2005 because their last album flopped and Diddy had told the group they were over budget, despite having used many of Bad Boy's in-house team of producers on the album? Oh, and weren't they dropped from the label? I hope Mike isn't doing this MTB thing just for New Edition to get another shot at Bad Boy and record their long-awaited eighth album there cuz that last one stunk.

Michael could easily be on the show without kissing ass.

funny you all bring this up because I was thinking the same thing "why in the hell is Mike Bivins on there when NE had a conflict with Diddy about their shitty album?" I think NE asked to be released from their contract and are no longer with Bad Boy, but if they were dropped, then that's believable too. But either way, I know NE and Bad Boy didn't end on happy terms, and Mike Bivins being Diddy's "bitch" on the show is like a slap in the face to the guys from NE. What are they going to do next, have the rest of the guys from NE on the show to teach the picked group members some dance moves???? disbelief rediculous.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

and also did you guys notice that Mike Bivins role on the show is very deja vu-ish to the role Farnsworth Bentley played to "Da Band" on Making the Band 2????

Laurianne and such a drama queen. she is hysterical but she gives choreographers like me a bad name with being so damn dramatic all the time. i like the show. it's definitely entertaining. i love Michael Bivvens! he looks really good. i heard there's gonna be an episode where Diddy throws a chair at Laurianne eek . gotta see what that's about. also i just read that Diddy and kim Porter have split due to him cheating with Sienna Miller. Oh well....i don't know why anyone would do any of his making the band shows since all they ever achieve is one hit single and video and that's it, he's onto the next. where's Danity Kane now?

Yep, I've been waiting ever since MTB3 for Diddy to get on her case about doing what she wants to do, when she wants to do it. In fact, on the 1st episode, Diddy even had to tell her to just shut up and keep voting on which of the boys should get cut.

She's a trip and she needs to get a big reality check. Hopefully Diddy will give her one next week!

I'm not saying Diddy was right in cussin her out or even trying to throw a chair at her. I know that Diddy isn't a goody two shoes character, but Laurie Ann is a drama queen.
