Siouxsie's "Dreamshow" DVD...anyone here seen it?

...Filmed at London's Royal Festival Hall in 2004, this two-act concert begins with a drum duet. As an image of the sun glows behind them, drummer Budgie and guest taiko master Leonard Eto work themselves into a frenzy as the other musicians join them on stage. While the percussionists pound away, the 15-member Millenia Ensemble takes their positions. Then Siouxsie makes her entrance in a cleavage-baring pantsuit and feathered headdress. The assemblage proceeds to perform 27 selections from her storied catalog...

Sounds interesting, going by the Amazon description. Has anyone here seen it? How was it?

I have not seen it. BUT I did go to one of the shows and it was amazing...esp the songs chosen to sing. Her voice was great and the music was too. I've been thinking of getting this myself.

Oh god, I've had it for weeks now, but still haven't watched it. I went to three of the shows here in NY, but the London concert that was recorded for the DVD is supposed to be way better.

I was reading up on it and she had an orchestra not present for the rest of the tour. Again the set lists were amazing for that show.

It's a fantastic DVD with brilliant performances all round. Souixsie even gets a little diva-ish and walks off stage in a huff because its a tad chilly on stage.

Cello's, taiko drums and Siouxsie throwing shapes, What more do you need?

Oh Dear! She did that at OUR show. Saying "I'm never f'ing coming f'ing back to this f'ing place f'in ever! The people who work here are shite" She left at one point for a while complaining it was too cold, but Budgie would go and get her. Most of the applause was for Budgie! And she'd comeback wrapped in a blanket! So much for the Ice Queen! lol We were burning UP!

I had 2 friends (both in their upper 40's) say that can't Believe she pulled that and vowed to never go to another Siouxsie show. I don't get that at all. I mean it's NOT a SIouxsie show until she throws her diva antics around. That's half the fun.

She did the exact same thing (blanket and everything) at the third NY show. At the first two shows she only complained, but the during the third she actually carried out her threat. lol

lol I've never seen any of her/their shows and didn't know about all that diva biz! And yes, there was an orchestra at the London show that the DVD is from.

Thanks for the comments, I think I may check this out! nod
