I love tell it to my heart!! She came to Santa Barbara back in the day when she was hot, she played at a very imtimate show here in town, I for one LOVED it, it was only one hour long as she did not have much material, but I loved it.

Speaking of Taylor Dayne, she did a song that was in the movie "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton" called "Get Up". It's not on the soundtrack. Any1 know where 2 find it? Listen to me on The House of Pop Culture podcast on itunes http://itunes.apple.com/u...d438631917

I liked Taylor Dayne when she fist hit the scene. She has a big, powerful voice. But you have to admit, now when you play her music, it really sounds dated - with those cheesey synths and drum machines. Don't get me wrong, her voice still holds up -- but the music (like in "Tell It to My Heart" and "Prove Your Love") didn't age well.
It's too bad she didn't transition into the new millenium, and where was she in the 90's? She's not alone though. Look at Samantha Fox, Kim Wilde, and Paula Abdul. A new album would be nice - but I'm not gonna get my hopes up because you know we'll never see a video or get radio airplay out of it, simply because of the way the music industry is now.
