Ok, Whats The BEST James Brown Book?

I read a few things from his autobiography, but like many autobiographies the whole thing presented an idealistic fakery, honestly.

Is there any JB's bio book that gave a truthful account of his life?

sigh

Do you notice that there's this FEAR among everybody associated with his name(even the distant ones who haven't even worked for him)?

That man truly mastered the art of CONTROL. In a sense, I think Aretha is that way too as far as their bio-work's concern, seems that nobody wanna touch anything concerning their personal life.

The one titled James Brown: A Biography written by Geoff Brown is supposedly the best.

I can't really help you beyond that as I've not read it.

He's also authored a more recent release called Black and Proud: The Life of James Brown.
Whether it's simply an update of the previous book now taking us up to his death, well.... I can't help you there, either.

Sorry for being so lame. lol

Maybe that's why they called him the GODFATHER of soul cool smile.

We really need a good, balanced biography covering all of JB's life and times, especially now he's gone and the story can be said to be complete, as it were.

For an artist of his stature, the lack of good books about his music and life is scandalous.

It would be a hell of a story, I think.

I think the best James Brown book is the one Alan Leeds hasn't written yet lol Or is writing and isn't finished/released. Whatever the case may be at this date.
