http://www.youtube.com/wa...y-cF0W2JLw @ Steveland Morris Stevie is a true pioneer. I saw that and was HE WAS DOING IT TOO! I like how he went to "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone"... And then when he kicked the harmonica in and had Wonderlove singing alongside him. Straight up FONKY!!! Wait which Stevie talkbox video you talking about? The one where he covered "Papa..." or when he did "Close to You"? 'Cause I saw both. [Edited 7/8/07 16:13pm]

Plus he was ahead of his time. He and Sly paved the way for Prince's Camille voice. I love his "Maybe Your Baby" for the sped up vocal alone and Ray Parker on guitar... HELL YEAH!

I thought that was Jeff Beck Yeah, the "helium sound" was a trip,,,I'm not sure who originated it 1st but Sly, Stevie, George Clinto and David Bowie rivaled to give their own interpretation of it. I'm just sorry nobody will ever hear the outtakes that never made it to these albums imagine if these stuff got leaked,,,,,
