'Who's on private jets?' band ask from Wembley stage

Duran Duran arrived on stage at Live Earth London today (July 7) having a sly dig at their fellow performers.

Taking the stage at Wembley Stadium frontman Simon Le Bon made a joke about some of the acts who had to travel using their own planes to the show.

"Before we start everyone who did not arrive in a private jet put your hands in the air," asked the singer, raising his own along with the crowds'.

Launching into their set, the band included 'Ordinary World', which Le Bon telling crowd, "the ordinary world is inside yourself, you've got to sort that out before deal with the rest".

The band then introduced their hit 'Girls On Film' with the singer telling the audience to "smile because Nick Rhodes wants to take your picture".

The keyboard player then snapped the crowd, triggering the trademark camera shutter sound which heralds the 1980s hit.

However the much rumoured guest spot from Justin Timberlake did not take place.

Duran Duran played.
