Yes!!!! I remember a couple months ago one of the orgers here said
that van hunt had a new deal with a legendary record label. No one here seem to think of blue note. Every one was thinking atlantic, arista, or motown. Way to go Van Hunt. Now the second half of the year is starting to heat up with new releases forthcoming from van hunt, prince, mint condition, and common. The first half of the year was a snoozer. Don't laugh at my funk

Blue Note is a good move, he's still really with EMI since Capitol/Emi owns Blue Note also. But blue note has more respect and does a little bit more with marketing and putting dollars behind artists, Norah Jones being one of those artists.
