Gotta be Word Up - classic tune. When a Spice Girl covers a song and it still sounds amazing you know its a winner!

"A Change Is Gonna Come" is another one, though I've only heard the Sam Cooke, Terrence Trent D'Arby, Aretha Franklin & Leela James versions...

Find the Fugees version of it, Lauryn Hill sounds amazing on it. Beverley Knight covered it on Jools Holland (I think it was on that, she def covered it somewhere) - her version prooves that she is the most underrated British singer ever. If you can't find these coveres drop me an org note and I will send them over to you if you want them.

-Aint No Mountain High Enough

-I Heard It Through The Grapevine

-Who's Lovin' You. I Like all versions of this song including the original by The Miracles but the Jackson 5's version is the best IMO.

"Just My Imagination", there exists even a Finnish casio-reggae-whatever version of it and I can't get even that out of my head.

Actually, Prince's version is pretty shitty compared to most.

For sentimental reasons, the song 'Superstar' which to my knowledge was originally sung by the Carpenters.

I love the Luther Vandross cover especially.

Only redeeming thing about that cover was that The Art of Noise featured on it with their trademark sound.

Reminds me - I once had a massive argument with some stupid woman at a partywho tried to tell me that Tom Jones WROTE and sang the original version of 'Kiss.'
confused

The words poor and deluded sprung to mind.
