Feuding Lennon Brothers Give Peace A Chance

Julian, Sean Lennon Break 8-Year Silence

POSTED: 8:50 am CDT June 25, 2007

NEW YORK -- After eight years of feuding, the silence has been broken between John Lennon's sons.

According to the New York Post, half-brothers Julian Lennon and Sean Lennon have reconciled after an eight-year feud.

The Post said that the rift stemmed from comments Julian Lennon made about Sean Lennon's mother, Yoko Ono. Julian Lennon's mother is Cynthia, the late former Beatle's first wife.

"I thought it time to make big changes in my own life," Julian Lennon said. "Part of that has been to get Sean back into my life, because I love him so much."

The Post said that it was Julian Lennon's first interview since 1999.

After contacting Sean's tour manager earlier this year, Julian Lennon surprised his half-brother backstage after a show in Prague. He said that they hugged.

Julian Lennon, 44, said that he joined Sean Lennon, 31, on the tour bus, sleeping on the floor, traveling through Croatia and Slovenia.

Both Lennon brothers have followed their father's footsteps and have recorded several albums.

Julian Lennon's 1990 debut album "Valotte" spawned hits including the title track and "Too Late for Goodbyes." His other hits include "Saltwater" and "Day After Day."

Sean Lennon debut album "Into the Sun" came out in 1998, and last year he released the album "Friendly Fire."

yeah, I remember a "comeback" album of sorts that came out in the late 80's that actually wasn't that bad.

Julians best work was on his last album way back in 1999 called "Photograph Smile" it was released first overseas in late 98 and then here in later 99, easily his best work, and he has been doing some writing lately he has said and should have soemthing together later in the year. It would be nice to see his track SALTWATER to make a comeback since everyone all of a sudden cares about the Enviroment, Julian did this way back in 1991 and it was one of the best songs he did and best videos ever.
