It say in that aricle that Led Zeppelin's "Whole lotta love"
comes originally from Small Faces "You need lovin'" was just another uncredited version of Willie Dixon's "You need love" There was a lawsuit in '85 and after that Willie Dixon is rightfully now credited on the Led Zeppelin song. When I was in Chicago last year Stymie took me to the legedary Chess studio where we met Willie Dixon's widow who talked about the issue. /peace Manki | |

Yes most of those songs are already listed in the very beginning of the other thread and more are mentioned later in the thread.  (and PyZeppelin is a Zep fansite you know  ) I think most fans acknowledge where the originals came from.

This makes me sad, cause I heard that they were just a rip off band, I know for a fact that Dazed and Confused was a remake of a Jake Holmes song, just the words a little different and some things that Page added in...they only orginally song they did was 'Stairway to Heaven.' | |

Sorry dude. 'Stairway to Heaven is not original. The first part is from the band Spirit their song Taurus and the second part is from another song. I forgot the name of this. | |
