I love a lot of the songs from his "Journey Through The Secret Life Of Plants" album.
Send One Your Love Power Flower Black Orchid I also love his 80's stuff I Love You Too Much Never In Your Sun Go Home Overjoyed You Will Know One Of A Kind Gotta Have You and Chemical Love from the "Jungle Fever" soundtrack are good to. Right now my favorite jam from Stevie Wonder is LOVE LIGHT IN FLIGHT. His voice is unexplainable. I was and still am in awe of that song. He kicked ass on that jam. It actually brings tears to my eyes. I think I'll listen to it right now.  | |

Some people go overboard dissing the '80s stuff just because every song isn't perfect. This is simply one of THE most beautiful songs ever recorded. i was waiting for someone to mention this one. it's lyrically thought provoking, crescendos into an almost gospel joint. it's Stevie's take on gospel. it captures humanity's preoccupation with negativity yet their disdain and disbelief in an afterlife. i think i PLAY Superwoman more than this one, but Heaven is probably my fave, this month. | |

People always forget this album, Some really underrated gems on the album Tomorrow robins will sing (So funky)..Uptempe Taboo to love.....Dark melody..Ballad I'm New.....Brillaint melody.....Ballad... For your love All those are some of his best work.....Brilliant..... From other albums I love: Overjoyed Isn't she lovely superstition signed , sealed , delivered , Im yours for once in my life... When I first heard it, I didn't really dig much of it because of it's dated production (circa 1995) I spin some songs from that album, theres some really great stuff, like "Rain Your Love Down" is like a wall of Stevie's kind of like gospel soulful electric song, plus I can get my groove on to Edge of Eternity and Sensuous Whisper, though the latter doesn't 'jazz' like its supposed. I LOVE "I'm New" though, his voice is like candy on this one At this point in history, we have a choice to make

Any of you oldheads out there remember Stevie singing "Superstition" on Sesame Street years ago? That was the first time I ever saw him perform, and I was blown away. And Big Bird and Grover were gettin down One of the most beautiful love songs ever written was "My Cherie Amour" I love that song! I also like the "King Holiday Song" (Happy Birthday To Ya!) "Do I Do", "That Girl" and "Tell Me Something Good" I know he wrote that for Chaka Khan but that song is FUNKY!! | |
