Help me out with Jamiroquai

OK I know I'm late.

I bought their first album when it first came out in 10th grade but now I want to get into the rest of their catalogue after I randomly heard "Seven Days in Sunny June" on my sister's iPod. I love that song!!!! I tried to find the album it's on on iTunes, no dice. What are their best album tracks and what's their best LP?
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

All of the albums are on amazon and overstock.com including Dynamite, the cd you're looking for. You're better offf buying at overstock. I'd nominate Return of the Space Cowboy, Travelling Without Moving, Sykronized, and A Funk Odyssey as essential Jamiroquai...

That's cold, Scooter. smile

Anyways, as a Jamiroquai fan, I'd recommend Return Of The Space Cowboy first. It has the same feel as "Sunny June" from beginning to end, and arguably, is The J's most consistent and enjoyable album.

Traveling Without Moving is the one I'd go with next.

It's so funny that you say that. I have heard that criticism of Jamiroquai for years and I have never heard Stevie in their music. I just think of Stevie as being on a whole other level.I do really liek jamiroquai, though.

Jamiroquai has only recorded six full-length albums,so you might as well get them all lol My favorite album is 'A Funk Odyssey',released in 2001.This is the type of album that Michael Jackson or George Michael should make....filled with some cool,modern-day disco/funk jams ("Little L","Love Foolosophy") and some amazing ballads too ("Picture Of My Life","Corner Of The Earth").Best of all, there's no hip-hop influence....no silly rapper cameos spoiling the fun....just some serious electro grooves that would make even Madonna green with envy.As far as I'm concerned, this is the best album of this decade.

The follow-up album 'Dynamite',released in 2005,is good but it didn't hold my attention as long.Nevertheless,"Seven Days In Sunny June" is one of the most impressive songs they have ever done music I was pissed that this song didn't become the worldwide smash that it deserved to be.

Same here.I never understood the Stevie comparisons, either.Jay Kay can't help the way his voice sounds, but I don't think he sounds like a Stevie Wonder clone at all.

Yep, they had magic (no diss to the current Bassist). Cueing up that "Deeper Underground" as we speak, volume at 11.

Thibaut

The first 3 albums are classic. The others have like 5 really good tracks and the rest sucks.

speaking of jazz....there's a rumor that Jamiroquai's next CD will be a jazz album but somehow,I doubt this.

there is no help for you, because it's all downhill after the 3rd album. you're just setting yourself up for disappointment, and i won't have any part of it. hmph! sorry.
