Earth Wind and Fire - Studio Albums I'm interested in getting into Earth Wind and Fire. Which studio albums (i.e. not one of the various greatest hits compilation) should I start with and why ?
Thanks ! | |

I'm sure there will be other opinions but these are my favorites...
...Why? Because they're great. One of the last great evolutions/elevations of R&B. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

You can start with the ones the audience have listed for you and
add raise and powerlight to that list. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

It doesn't get much better than "That's the Way of the World".

U might want 2 consider Raise also. It is my favorite EWF album (and my introduction).
However, All 'n All, Spirit and , I Am are true masterpieces. That's The Way of the World is up there also (not my favorite EWF album though). [Edited 6/26/07 13:16pm] **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I pray for a day of a 8 minute version of Imagination
And what is that song that has a video of them in the sky floating and stuff. They showed it on some type of special Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Start with That's The Way Of The World. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

...Why? Because they're great. One of the last great evolutions/elevations of R&B. Yeah, those are pretty much the essential EW&F albums, and although it's not technically a "studio album" (except for four tracks),I would recommend 'Gratitude' as well.
