"Holy Ghost" is probably the nastiest (musically) funk song of all time, that beat is so chilling and the sound was just RUFF! That instrumental is indeed boss.

"Let's Have Some Fun", "Shake Your Rump to the Funk", "Move Your Boogie Body", "Too Hot to Stop", "Freakshow", etc.

The Bar-Kays turned up the funk more times than one, you couldn't even be convinced that this was the same band who did "Soul Finger" (and indeed they weren't but you know what I'm saying).

Noone likes their first hit "Soul Finger"

I was looking at vainandy's list. I forgot all about put a little nasty
on it. That is when the barkays regrouped in the early 90's. They never got
around to putting a full album together with that single because the label they were on folded. That was a slammin track. I still have it on cassette single. They put out 48 hrs about a year later which was there last real good album.
