I'm surprised no one has mentioned Nat King Cole.

He was going to be my choice until I remembered Little Jimmy Scott.

A young Johnny Mathis was also in the running.
Check out his version of Laura.

Uh.. "beautiful" is a strange term when coming to male voices. I never thought of it in those terms when coming to a male vocalist. Female, yeah. Minnie was the first to come to my brain. And then Denise. Although neither of them are my favorite female vocalists.

I don't think it's weird to describe a male voice as beautiful. Maybe it's because I'm a woman and a male voice affects me in a different way than it affects you. Luther Vandross's voice, to take an example, is what I call beautiful. It send chills down my spine and makes me feel like I'm listening to an angel...

My vote for best female voice goes to: Whitney Houston.

Male: Hard to decide but Luther is one of the most soulful.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Nat King Cole.

Yeah, I do love Nat King Cole. Truly like no other. But my take on beautiful may be odd to others, u see. Like Brooke Benton's "Rainy Night In Georgia", Loius Armstrong's "It's A Wonderful World" and Bobby Womack's "Harry Hippy"are three of the most beautiful songs sung by male vocalists, to me.

Jim Cuddy - you must be a Torontonian smile

Jim has a great voice. I love him and the rest of BR.

I also agree with Sam Cooke and Marvin and I will add George Michael and TTD to that list.

Rick has a great voice. He is a tragically underrated vocalist.
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.
