Talking of MJJ starting at 11 is relevant BECAUSE MJ AND CB HAVE TWO DIFFERENT CAREERS. Michael Jackson started IN A BAND NOT AS A SOLO ARTIST. So pointing out the fact that MJ started at 11 makes no sense.
MJ at 16 wasn't one of te kind anymore. The Jacksons were losing popularity and fans when MJ was between 15 and 20. They weren't kids anymore, and struggled to redefine themself.

So telling me that CB looks like a straight up copy cat is just stupid. I'm sorry but CB is not a straight copy cat, CB does a lot of current news dances like krumping and chicken noodle soup dances. Just like MJ, he paid tribute to his idol, but he's not a copy cat.

I mean MJ didn't sound anything like James Browm or Jackie Wilson, he had his own sound which unmistakely even at 16 was a much more soulful version than he has today. MJ on the scene at 16 could never be lumped with a group of other wannbe artists, which is what is happening to CB, JT, Omarion and to a lesser extent Usher. They all come across as Wannabes.

You talk about MJ like if at 16, he was already all original with a distinctive voice and dance moves. Nope, he wasn't distinctive and unique. Michael Jackson has been lumped with Edmund Sylvers and the Sylvers during the late 70's.

What your saying doesn't make sense. MJ career started with Motown age 11, we have to bring that into the equation because that's when he came onto the scene, regardless whether he was with a group or not, you can't ignore that fact. Infact in a way that is one of the things that have made his career so unique.

Another thing your stuck with the dancing thing. Apart from dancing which CB is very goood at, even though he come across s MJ Mark 2, your not saying much else about CB. Your not really talking about his voice, which was MJ greatest asset when he was very young, before the dancing took over in my opinion. Your not talking about how inspiring his albums are, I mean do you think by the time CB is 21 or even 25 he could do an album to rival the influence and inspiration of "Off The Wall"?. And like someone said this isn't the 70s anymore, if your albums isn't doing much business after a couple of albums record labels drop you. For you to say CB is so great because he is a really good dancer and he knows how to do certain moves doesn't really say much to me about CB overall talent and longevity.

MJ career started at 11, Chris Brown at 16. Nope, you just can't bring that into the equation because they have TWO different starting careers.
If Chris Brown started at 11, that would be different.

OK, seems that you have a STRONG problem of understanding, Chris Brown has just turned 18, he has realeased only one album 2 years ago. NOBODY KNOWS WHAT HE WILL BE, What's for sure he's the most talented entertainer right now and the youngest.
For now, he outshines any other guy when it comes to entertaining and dancing. I'm talking about talent not sales or popularity.

You just can't predict the future of a very young artist who needs years to improve and mature. All I know is the kid has potential and he's the most talented entertainer I've ever seen SINCE MJ.

Nobody knew what MJ would become when he was 18. But what's for sure, he was talented. Nobody could predict his successful career (and his fall).

Nobody knew what Prince would become when his first album flopped in 1978. But what's for sure, he was talented. Nobody could predict the successful career of Prince.

BAsed on talent, CB is the closest artist TO CHALLENGE MJ's crown as the greatest entertainer. It doesn't mean he will have the same success, nobody can't top MJ's success it terms of album sales.
