Credit where credit is due... for Timberlake Call him phony, faker, whatever...
This rocks, though: Justin Timberlake - Cry me a river (Paris, propably this year?) http://www.youtube.com/wa...uI18a_G_r0 I guess his vocals could be a little less, uhm, white, but it still kicks ass. Other videos are good, too.

Good to see JT and John Blackwell rockin together. I still think JT sounds like a sissy lol especially when he's yelling like he's getting a spankin. [Edited 6/23/07 12:14pm]

Yeah, well, it's his music, so when I like it, I give him credit, when I don't like, I say he sucks. Whatever exactly it is that he does here, I don't know.

Ok, then credit to Timbaland. I just like the song and the performance.

ok, i figured it out. Justin has certain musical instincts that could take him far. but his female fans are N'Sync layovers and his male fans have a crush on him. (an artist whose fan base comes from the boy band era can't be trusted LOL!) a few others still like whatever the media TELLS them is hot. others and those wrongly called "haters" just give him marginal credit because of his arrogance and prefer originality of those he can't admit he's bitten off of.

I love the ensemble, and the overall energy of the band.
But other than the last part of the performance, his voice was kind of flat. He's actually a great singer, me thinks, and this didn't show that off too much. Either way, I don't care for him all that much, but I do think if he plays his cards right, he'll be one of those long lasting big stars. As unfortunate as this seems, where the 80s and 90s was all about MJ vs. Prince, the following generations may be all about Usher vs. Timberlake. edit [Edited 6/23/07 16:47pm]

Great performance yes, Youtube has the others from same show too. Blackwell and Mike Scott having way more fun in a vibrant fresh setting than tired Vegas jamming I'm sure. FutureLove/SexSounds beats out anything Prince has done since 2000 by some distance. The HBO Madison Square Garden Concert should be awesome.
Whatever is to thank; Timbaland, Danjahandz, white privilege, Justin's good taste in music; theres like six or seven top quality potential singles on one album at the end of the day. No wonder its broken the record for #1s: Summer Love has hit #1 on the charts making it JT's 4th consecutive number 1 from a single album. He is the the first male artist to ever do this. First male to have four straight # 1s (not even Michael Jackson aciheved this) First artist this decade to have 5 #1s (including Give It To Me). Glug, glug like a mug

Because I have a lower expectation from JT, I might enjoy his show more than Prince's.

Michael Jackson is still the first and only artist to have 5 consecutive #1 singles from an album (That album being "Bad"). And Justin has had three #1 singles from FutureSex/LoveSounds, not four. Anyway, I do like"Cry Me A River" Not a bad performance. Oh and 3121>>>>>FutureSex/LoveSounds [Edited 6/24/07 11:14am] "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ
