*Sigh*

I wish people would get there facts straight when it comes to this whole Beatles catalogue. The fact is this....MJ did tell Paul he would be placing a bid on the cataloge, he did tell him. Its a bit of a cop out for paul to go on oprah and mock MJ's voice and behave as though Michael stabbed him in the back. If that catalogue was so important to him, why did he and the other members allow another entity control of it before Mike did? Was he upset at that company too???

People need to stop making MJ look like the bad guy in all of this.....take some responsiblity Paul!!...you opened your damn mouth, Mj told you he was gonna bid, its your own damn fault for thinking he was playing around!

He shouldn't have had to because Paul always thought that Mike was a jokie-joke type guy and when he heard that Mike was gonna buy some of the shares, he just thought it was a careless joke. So, in a way, Mike did do it behind Paul's back and that ain't right!? So now, who 's fault is it? Michael's all the way. lol
[Edited 6/23/07 19:58pm]

so ur saying it's Michael's fault that Paul thought he was joking lol that's not how things work.

It's Paul's fault for not taking Michael seriously. the second time Paul should have thought more about it but nooooo. so in this case it's paul's fault. people just love to blame Michael on this one like he bought it without telling Paul, and even if he did so what it's business

and there it is folks...if an anonymous jane or john smith had purchased it the same would it make things different? paul got out bid and he and his fans need to get over it.

While that's true, it also says a lot about Michael Jackson that he would do that to a friend of his. There's not reason he HAD to bid on them if he knew Paul wanted to do so. Yeah, Paul and his fans ought to get over it by now. But at the same time, it was a prickish thing for MJ to do and his fans should realize that and not feel like it's something that constantly needs to be defended. Yes, it was his right to do it, but he was a dickhead for it. And Paul whining about it 20 years later is getting just as annoying. He's got more money than God (and did at the time of the sale). At that point and any point along the way, he could have coughed up the dough and made a deal with them. He could get them for the right price. And he has enough money to meet the right price. And even if it meant spending every last penny he had on them, he'd make it back within a year or two.

ive been in business with a close close friend...and we would yell and scream at each other but at the end of the day we left the business out of our personal friendship...so despite me asking him to buy out my shares of our business and leave him high and dry because i wanted out we are still good friends.

its business.

Scott Weiland/Axl Rose.....remember that high school like letter made public.
"Get in the rinGo to the gym motherfucker, or if you prefer, get a new wig motherfucker. I think I’ll resist the urge to “stoop” to your level.

Oh shit, here it comes, you fat, botox faced, wig wearin’ fuck! O.K. I feel better now. Don’t think for a second we don’t know where those words came from. Your unoriginal, uncreative little mind, the same mind that had to rely on its bandmates to write melodies and lyrics. Who’s the fraud now bitch?

Damn, I couldn’t imagine people writing for me. How many albums have you put out man and how long did it take the current configuration of this so-called “band” to make this album? How long? And without the only guys that validated the name. How dare you! Shame on you! How dare you call our bass player “spineless”.

We toured our album over a year and a half. How many shows have you played over the last ten years? Oh, that’s right - you bailed out on your long awaited comeback tour, leaving your remaining fans feeling shall we say a trifle miffed?! I won’t even list what I’ve accomplished because I don’t need to.

What we’re talking about here is a frightened little man who once thought he was king, but unfortunately this king without his court is nothing but a memory of the asshole he once was.

Yours truly,

Scott Weiland

The Jacksons/Osmonds "rivalry" was even more of a fake than the MJ/Prince media and fan-created "rivalry", because they were actually friends.

As far as I know it was only fans of each bitching at eachother over who was the best.
