The Village People
The Weather Girls
Eartha Kitt

These days.....Prince.....because today's male generation is so damn insecure in their manhood and think that being a trashy thug is being a real man.....However, back in the day, all the Prince fans I knew were some of the most masculine straight men you would ever meet. The girls that I knew mainly liked his slow stuff like "Do Me, Baby" or "Still Waiting". The guys were into the hard funk and Prince was right up there with Rick James, The Barkays, Lakeside, Cameo, etc.
Andy is a four letter word.

N'Sync...

Did anyone see Ross the Intern (of the Jay Leno show, obviously gay) interview Joey Fatone??? He told Joey that he knew all of the words to one of their songs, then proceeded to sing it, all the time trying to get Joey to sing along..."Oh my god, he doesn't remember the words"

Brilliant...
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

David Bowie and Queen, really??

I mean, I know Queen's 80s stuff was a little more gay-ish, but they were a hard-rocking near-metal 70s force of prog-rock machismo, just delicately metro'd with the flair of Freddie Mercury's stage prancing.

Freddie was without question THE best frontman in the history of Rock & Roll. But he was also a total man-diva. And he never hide that image.

I'm shocked that no one said Moby.... hmmm

...as far as Prince is concerned, when I was in high school (early 80's), there were several groups of straight guys who took to practicing Prince Interpretive Dress....up to and including the eye liner and in some cases, rocking the trench coats and Andre' Cymone hair style....and for the most part, the only idiots who questioned their straightness were the jocks....mostly because the little Princes were cutting into the jock's monopoly of nubile, available, young ladies who were itching to give up their respective virginities....

me? I sported my allegiances to the Rude Boy....went as far as liner a couple of times...but my dress never got any stranger than a sleeveless tee with rude boy on it....

I agree with both of those statements, I've just never pegged the band to have a large gay audience. I think Queen is probably one of the bands that really has all kinds of fans, regardless of background.

I know my music collection regularly gets called "gay", but I don't know why really. Most of the stuff I've gotten in recent years has been stuff I've read about on the .org
If you will, so will I
