I knew some shit was about to get started between these two. But I still stand behind Thicke all the way! Timberlake needs to sit down somewhere...

It sounds like Thicke is proclaiming himself as a better performer because he does soul music and Timberlake is just another disposable piece of pop junk because he dances and does pop music that appeals to the "material folks". That must be something i call beef...

No, Thicke has never written or produced a song for him and I think the reason why its a somewhat shot at Justin is because Robin is tried of people comparing him to Justin's sound and voice. I mean sure, both Robin and Justin aren't the most accomplished or greatest vocalists to ever grace the pop scene, but Thicke has Justin hands down when it comes to crafting an infectious and catchy song and writing one also.

well thats a given...
He's a producer thats like sending a snake to wrestle a mongoose...
Justin can't write, anybody in the world with a level head knows this...
he's a singer...
Thicke spent yeears writing and producing before actually singing...
The only real comparison of the two is that they're both white males in black/minority driven genres....
thats all...
it just shows how racist people still are...

And plus, what do you really say to someone who has worked with Timbaland, Pharrell, and The Neptunes throughout their whole solo career? You say that they are just not that much prolific as someone who writes and produces most of their own material. And with that said, Timberlake has always been and will always be a general "showbiz kid"...

Robin is freakkin hilarious and sooo on point...I think the comparisons between the two are ludacris. Justin has the popularity and a little talent too. Robin has much more talent and all around skills....unfortunately Justin has been intimidated into learning to play the piano and guitar so we can stop saying he can't play. The gauntlet's been thrown time for a death match,,,

Didn't Robin write "Still On My Brain"?

Brian McKnight did that, I believe.

What do you mean he was intimidated to play?

I saw him on some show playing a Rhodes e.piano to one song, but he just played like 3 chords over and over.

You could've just imagined a younger version of his dad. lol

I don't think it was a dig at Justin. I mean, I like the guy well enough, but he wishes he could be the male Madonna.

Oh great another genius wages in on music and an artist that was happening when he was a 3 year old. Justin could never be a "MAdonna" that kind of fame she created, Justin was handed it. And as for Robin, i still say it, nothing but HYPE, talk to me in 10-15 years when you prove yourself, same goes for Justin.

I love madonna and thought at first this would be a compliment, but it really isn't. I guess thicke is also tired of kiddies comparing his voice to justin when he was obviously inspired by the likes of prince, smokey robinson, michael jackson and even maxwell.

I'm not sure Justin was handed fame any more than Madonna was. I still can't believe he was the guy out on the MMC to become a big star.

I also don't think it takes 10-15 years to prove yourself. To become a legend, sure, but not to be taken seriously as an artist.

I'm not a huge fan of Robin Thicke but i'd take him any day over Usher or the Usher clones out there.

He wrote and produced before he became "famous" so he's not a poser.
