Michael should go back to old school sounding music... something that sounds like his off the wall Days...

I pray that he stays away from hip-hop or even modern RnB... Stay away from anything that sounds like Omarion, Usher.... any young RnB star...

I love michael and will always support him no matter what... so if he releases a new album.. he already has my support

You must not have checked out the alleged list of producers for his forthcoming cd

will.i.am
Ne-Yo
Teddy Riley
Rodney Jerkins
Neff-U
Sean Garrett
DJ Whoo Kid
DeVante
Big Chuck
Feemster

He should throw Timberland in there for some hot beats.
Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

except Timbaland's been going strong for a decade now, so I don't really see how it's the same.

It's not Michael who is "chasing Thriller" it is the media, music industry, some fans and non-fans. People can't seem to seperate "Thriller" from whatever Michael releases. Just because "Thriller" is the biggest selling album ever doesn't mean that everything that he releases has to be compared to it. Again, it is not Michael who is "chasing Thriller", it is the fact that no one allows him to forget it. The only pressure that Michael should have is to release a great album. Instead, we hear people saying that it will not outsell Thriller. Michael doesn't have to worry about "breaking records" anymore; he has already done it all. If it happens again, then it happens. He is not worried about that and most of his fans are not worried about that either. I am patiently awaiting his new album whenever he decides to release it. If you have been a fan of Michael's for as long as I have, you know that "patience" is a key word in being a fan. I can say that his music is always worth the wait.

mmyah invincible was well worth the wait...

Yes, Invincible was well worth the wait. It's the only MJ album that is still on constant replay on my CD player. I remember the first time that I heard YRMW and "Butterflies". I literally had chills because I hadn't heard Michael sound like that in a long time-smooth, raw and sexy as hell. I still get goosebumps when I hear "Butterflies". I contine to hear DJ's on R&B stations talk about how good that album is/was. Invincible brought back the casual MJ fan and turned them into hardcore fans again. Word of mouth was storng on that album and that is why it did so well, even without the support of Sony and the lack of promotion.Invincibile was well worth the wait. I look forward to Michael's new release.

Wow...u are a little off base with that statement...Unless three or four actual clients were: Missy Elliot, Ginuwine, Aaliyah, 702, Jay Z, Playa, Xscape, Ludacris, Total, SWV, and Nas...And this was all before his work with Justin Timberlake....That musical trend of saturating of the market was happenning even back then...

99% of the people who buy this music don't know who Timbaland is or that he's created all of it.

That said, the guy's been creating hits for several artists for over a decade, so let's not pretend he's like some flash in the pan.

He's also stolen a fair bit of his material from other artist...
but i'm not here to knock the man i like a few of his songs...
but what i'm saying is he's saturating his market...
because of this people won't wan't to work with him...
it's already started...
im not saying he won't have a career, i'm saying he'll stop to be hot
because he's exhausted the industry.
But then he'll get a comeback whatever and bounce back and be hott again...
but he's going down now...
IF MJ were to work with him and release an album by the fall or early winter...
that timbaland track would fizzle out of the charts
it happens to every producer who's getting too much work.

Maybe it's leftover feelings from an early- to mid-80's rivalry, but somehow it's soooo satisfying whenever a Jackson needs someone from the Minneapolis camp to validate them. cool

Don't be suprised when Michael's album and the main writer is Michael. I remember all the shit that was said when he was recording Invincible. Talks about working with Wyclef, Coolio, Dr Dre, Will Smith, and other people and it was all untrue lol

And now in this point in his life it’s really about making great music. ”

before it was about making soulless crappy music?
It's not Michael who is "chasing Thriller" it is the media

It's always the media's fault with the "kop".

What about:

1-Unbreakable
2-heaven can wait

Heaven can wait is one of the most beauitful melodies I have ever heard and its just far away from embarrassing, Its a great song, and speechless is one of the best vocal track on the album, the Acapellas on the song are mesmerizing... however I do agree with you on privacy ,I have never liked the song, its not my cup of tea.....But its all personal taste in the end..... biggrin
