According to the Miami Herald, Pop superstar Janet Jackson is in Miami recording a new album. The 'All for You' singer has booked 3 months of recording time at Circle House Studios. Interestingly, Def Jam head LA Reid has accompanied Jackson on the trip. Though boyfriend Jermaine Dupri has yet to been seen with them, he is slated to produce on the project.

is that a new pic? hopefully it is and she finally has a dresser worthy of her stardom.

i wonder if she'll ever be able to shake that stupid incident. say what you will but i believe it has put a major strain on her career. i really enjoy her "20 Y.O." album. though i don't like the title and was expecting a bit more "influence" from her past albums on it as it was intended to be. but i love it. no promoters or station would even touch it though. "Damita Jo"...well only 3 or 4 tracks were really worth it to me. the rest was a bunch of filler or possible b-sides to me. lol.

i appreciate her taking things head on and getting in the studio. it remains to be seen if she'll EVER overcome Nipplegate, but i'm glad she's not going into a shell depressed cause radio won't touch her.

it was about this long after DamitaJo came out tha they announced she was getting back in the studio to undo the stain that that album had put on her career. And what we got was even worse. And if they're announcing that JD is producing (again), I guess that means we're in for an even worse album yet again.


What she needs to do is go away for several years until she's worked up enough interest in her own career to put a decent set of songs together that are about something other than her vagina.

I kinda liked DamitaJo, but I would love an all Janet Jam & Lewis album!

it took madonna and even mariah a couple albums to undo 'stains' janet will do the same if she dresses respectably like she once did, sexy yet classy; and if she stops singing about her pussy like someone said. And for god's sake, she needs to sing loud again and have edge, which she lacks at times

relationally, she doesn't have a "happy medium" she's married two "pretty boys" who've dogged her and when she finally meets a man who loves her for real, he happens to look like a dog. and because of her past, she looks past it. she can't believe its real.

While Jermaine isn’t necessarily good looking I can’t get past how ignorant and immature he comes across in interviews and of course that doesn’t mean he’s not a great guy and good to Janet. I’m sure she sees another side of him that the public knows nothing about that works for her.

And knowing Janet a large part of that is probably in his pants.

I can't believe Janet is still trying to stay in the spotlight as a "recording artist!" Since "image" is her bag, she should capitalize on more movie roles!
That's where the money is at anyway! Ask recording artist gone Hollywood types like Ludacris,Ice T, and Ice Cube. Janet already has television and a couple of movies under her belt,...why don't she just stick with that route? Why worry about album sales, venue sells, and possible label dropping?

Janet,..your "jumping the shark" moment happened with "nipplegate." You are an average singer...but a great entertainer! Follow the career path of your sister Queen Latifah and get you some recognition thru movie entertainment!
